Human Development

Under construction…

Our sustainable human development efforts focus primarily on training and education on issues related to disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation and sustainability in urban and rural contexts. These efforts attend different levels and modalities of education, both within and outside formal education systems.

  • Within formal educational spaces – basic and university (undergraduate and graduate) education systems and institutions – we usually support diagnostic and curricular reengineering processes, as well as the design of educational materials and strategies that promote risk management and sustainability through relevant strategies to the particular local environments in which teachers, professors and students live.
  • In non-formal education, our experience include the design and implementation of social communication efforts that includes the production of audiovisual, radio and press material, and especially the design and implementation of digital communication and information technologies to support socialization of technical information about local exposure and risk scenarios, as well as self-protection recommendations that citizens may implement to face local risk scenarios.
