Who We Are?

The Research Center for Integral Risk Management (CIGIR) is a Non-Governmental Organization founded in 2007, of a multiregional nature, which functions as a space for the promotion and support of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary projects that promote sustainable development, with emphasis on the management of socio-natural risks, adaptation to climate change, environmental conservation and human development.

At CIGIR, we focus our efforts on the search and consolidation of management mechanisms relevant to the Latin American and Caribbean reality. To reach our objectives we have a diverse group of researchers and specialists in different areas of knowledge, and an important network of institutional and academic allies.

Today we are a network with presence in different countries from which initiatives for development are promoted that are managed from our administrative offices located in: Venezuela, Panama, United States and Spain.
